Vintage 1940 Paragon Teacup Set Burgundy Red with Gold Floral Scrolls and Medall

Near excellent condition, a small manufacturer’s mark in the finish otherwise for being 70 years old, it is pristine with no visible chips, cracks or crazing. Gold is bright and intact. Mom cherished these courtship gifts from dad as art pieces and kept her collection of Paragons on display, no one was allowed to use them.
This gorgeous cup and saucer has Paragon’s double warrant stamp, “By Appointment to H.M. the Queen and H.M. Queen Mary.” The cup is white on the exterior with gold accents and deep burgundy red on the interior with lavish gilt floral, swirl, and snowflake medallion.
A must-have for any teacup collector!
